Cat BE Training
In 2021 the rules were changed by the DVSA, meaning there is no need to complete a driving test.
Cat C Training
An L.G.V. Category 'C' licence entitles the holder to drive any L.G.V. rigid vehicle and a Category 'C' licence holder is limited to towing a trailer not exceeding 750kgs
Cat CE Training
Category 'C' licence holders are limited to towing a trailer not exceeding 750kgs so if you require to tow a trailer in excess of 750kgs a Category 'CE' licence is required.
Cat D Training
Category 'D' licence holders are limited to towing a trailer not exceeding 750kgs so if you require to tow a trailer in excess of 750kgs a Category 'DE' licence is required.
Driver CPC
Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) introduces a new initial qualification to new drivers, which increases the amount of knowledge that drivers need before they can drive.
Cat C1 Training
A Category C1 licence entitles the holder (who must be at least 18 years of age) to drive vehicles exceeding 3.5 tonnes but not exceeding 7.5 tonnes.

Lorry Loader (Hiab) Courses are available on our site, they are ALLMI accredited.
Counterbalance Forklift Training
This course is RTITB approved for your peace of mind that you are covered under the HSE regulations HSG6 and Approved Code of Practice L117.
Telescopic Handler Training
This course is RTITB approved for your peace of mind that you are covered under the HSE regulations HSG6 and Approved Code of Practice L117.
Reach Lift Truck Operator Training
This course is RTITB approved for your peace of mind that you are covered under the HSE regulations HSG6 and Approved Code of Practice L117.
Ped-op Pallet Stacker Training
This course is RTITB approved for your peace of mind that you are covered under the HSE regulations HSG6 and Approved Code of Practice L117.
Category F Tractor Licence
This is a day course for anyone wanting to take their tractor test (Category F).

LGV HGV Vehicle Technician
A position has become available for a Vehicle Technician to join our family run business in our bespoke commercial workshop.
Duties will include all types of vehicle repairs, mainly our own HGV’s and Trailer’s however also providing a high level of service to our customers vehicles, working as part of a small team to ensure all vehicles and trailers are roadworthy, prepping for MOTs, routine inspections, repairs and breakdowns, completing any relevant paperwork in relation to jobs done.
At times potential to be repairing vans, forklifts, generators, tractors and farm trailers.
Understanding of Auto electrics and Fabrication if needed.
Category B Driving License is required for collecting parts or attending breakdowns.
Category C+E or C Lorry Licence is an advantage but not essential and could be arranged for the right candidate.
Working hours are 0800 until 1700 with 30mins for dinner Monday to Friday. (With Saturday's paid overtime rate and potential to work later is required also at overtime rate).
Certificates of qualification is desirable but is not compulsory if previous experience is shown.
Start date is flexible.
Hourly Pay Rate will vary on candidates experience.
